Dividend appears realistic and a payout ratio of around 70% would seem sustainable for these high cash generating businesses.
Buy backs make sense as a way to return capital and benefit shareholders long term by reducing SOI.
Interesting to see if the market (over)reacts to the declining NIMs although it is now becoming commonplace and will be expected to continue with the banks retreating to their core businesses which will increase competitive pressure in their main markets.
