the only reason the SP was 65 because investors factored in growth
I did a simple model, where i assume an annual outflow of 12%, underlying fund performance of 8%, and discount cashflows at 8%, and get a fair value market cap of 2.4bn. The marketcap is currently 4bn
There are other structural problems with a 12% outflow that i havent factored in as well (e.g. talent leaving)
CGF has a big funds management business, and is growing, and trades on a lower multiple than this
