Finland project suffered from a halving of vanadium price, their was little operating margin left and added to that SSAB at the last minute insisted on a bank guarantee ($20m) for the 10 year supply of the feedstock. It would have been foolish to proceed. Hopefully someone will take it off their hands and they retain a royalty.
Barrambie was stalled when the offtake partner wouldn't come up with any upfront "hurt money". It was suggested by someone "inside the tent" that the CCP was pulling strings.
Battery recycling is progressing but grinding under MB constant technical demands.
It has suffered from comparison to the Li-Cycle debacle. Chris did point out that a fundamental difference is we are building for the manufacturer not hoping to source feedstock from manufacturers and have them compete to buy it back.
I understood it is progressing methodically but not quickly.
I suggest investors are in here for the long term or find somewhere else for the money.
