Plenty examples that could be used as a case study on the asx that suggest 2b shares on issue is not the prime focus for institutional investment. If EQR were netting a very healthy profit annually and forecasts looked favourable I doubt there would be much concern or chatter about a consolidation.
Focus on profitability imv instead of unnecessary talk about a split.
