Qantas announced today the commencement of Darwin to Singapore flights on the E190 starting at the end of the year. Initially five flights a week then increasing to daily from March 2025. See https://www.qantasnewsroom.com.au/media-releases/qantas-to-take-off-from-the-top-end-to-singapore/
Given flights are overnight ex Darwin, I’m assuming this additional wet lease flying will result in increased aircraft utilisation given the availability for domestic flying out of Darwin during the day.
The AQZ share price has firmed since Scott McMillan disclosed his on market share purchase (21,661 shares at $3.00 each) in late December. Half year result (usually released second week of February) will be interesting.
