Goodyear released results overnight, and not a lot of information apart from wanting to sell Dunlop (which we knew) and also the 'off the road' business (this seems to be mining/construction and not 4wd by the sounds of it.....not sure where Cooper fits in).
perhaps there was more information on an investor call, but have not seen the transcripts on that, so hard to know
I would have imagined that NTD would have bought out the exclusive distribution for dunlop in Aus (no need for the retail stores), but that seems unlikely given their already stretched balance sheet.
Well I guess have to wait until end of the month when hopefully NTD have some further insight into this shortly as dragging this out is not going to be good for any party
