To my mind the big question now with dusk is what happens in the diffuser space. Reminds me a bit of when flatscreen tv’s first came out - almost everyone bought one over a 3-5 year period. Then numbers dropped. Diffusers and oils were 1/3 of sales not too long ago-now down to 1/4. These are high margin products but I feel like every house/room now has a diffuser in it. Need to keep the oils diffusing + find novel ways of getting new devices (mini cute ones for in bathrooms etc). Will be interesting how this space evolves especially in tandem with the more “health and wellness” aromatherapy aspect. They’ve had an agreement with a US supplier of cannabinoid oil ready to go for ages if that ever gets legislated so could also be a high margin product.
