Because the 50Mt "performance" option is a joke. That is below expectations and is akin to a participation award at a local sporting event.
If they wanted actual performance options why is only one director receiving a bonus for achieving a 75Mt and not a single option for a globally significant 100Mt resource?
It should be structured the other way around. A small amount for 50Mt which increases at 75Mt/100Mt.
