FFX has something Mali want or wants a particular organisation to have - Morila gold.
Mali has not moved to take it forcibly so a deal will have to be agreed to.
Perhaps behind the scenes, the FFX deal and the LLL deal will be done almost simultaneously?
From an Aus legal point of view they are regarded as legally seperate. From a Mali point of view they are as thick as thieves and Mali hold the aces .
So if that is the case and Mali want Morila gold then the FFX deal could be contingent on an LLL deal being completed.
Mali can't have it both ways. If Mali believe FFX/LLL cannot be separated we may see one deal follow soon after the other, ie cannot separate deal completion.
Hoping this may be the case.
FFX say they may be in a position to settle in April.
