I listened in to the meeting. David Kingston & Malcolm McComas and others were there giving the directors a hard time about the discount and the lack of performance and the high fees. They called for restructure to open ended or a facility to exit at NTA. There were questions around the 25% buy back proposal. The chairman was asked what process had been followed to arrive at the 25% buyback proposal. He was also asked if they had sought any external advice about whether the buy back would fix the discount. He was also asked if they could point to any examples where a 25% buyback had fixed a discount issue. The chairman failed to answer those questions at all. I thought that was pretty odd.
