Townsville got 30mm rain. Half the city is without power (not us though). We only had one large branch down. Went for a run this morning, at 5.30 am the app said "29, but feels like 37". Fortunately 2/3 of summer has passed.
Lots of fences down here, enough fence work for the contractors for a couple of years. more than half the traffic lights out makes driving around town much faster
