wouldn’t be the first time directors say one thing and something completely different happens. I doubt Barrick will openly say they are going to get their mines nationalised. That would hurt their shareprice.
Now with FFX delisting there’s even less chances of a resolution as they hold about 20% shares in LLL. The whole shot show will be dragged until there is nothing left for holders.
The board are happy to keep paying themselves, after all they are living in Perth not in Mali.
