Yes it's not as straightforward as 50% or 90%. At 50% you basically have control as you can pass ordinary resolutions. At 75% you can pass special resolutions. As long as you still meet your fiduciary duty in the process this could see your asset sold to the predator/majority shareholder or similar. I would still expect a revised uplifted offer would go to minority holders if less than 90% take initial offer but definitely no guarantee of that.
