PB you keep saying 32M but I'm pretty sure they paid down half of it as has already been mentioned in the thread.
As for the application to recover a lower amount of the interest charge, I don't think you have any reasonable basis to state there is no hope of recovering any (I say this having read the judgement in detail).
I agree with your general sentiment in that I am concerned about liquidity, but I thought I should comment on these points.
