100% agree. There should have been an announcement by now. Definitely won’t be voting for a takeover at this years AGM.
GQG bid looking more like a 7 GQG shares for 1 PAC share at the moment. Unlikely to get as high as eight now.
This assumes a bid is coming at all. PAC have a history of receiving failed takeover bids. The current process appeared to have a high probability of success, however this is definitely questionable now.
This whole process will result in a cost of $2-3M, 3-6c per share.
Should the failure to extract a reasonable offer result in a protest vote at this years AGM? Tony Robinson is up for re-election this year and board is asking for a 33% increase in Director fees. I am inclined to vote no given issues around disclosure.
