Hi Pete, in fairness to all, I have moved on from analysing REITS.
I still have full exposure to all the REITS i acquired.
REIT prices have semi-recovered, and so I am happy to sit and squat on my positions. Higher for longer interest rates may mean my thesis takes longer to eventuate, but I bought at very good prices, with great yields and am making money. So I will just sit tight on this sector.
Most of my focus recently was on Hong Kong stocks (I previously had only exposure to a few state run stocks with secondary markets in HK), and had a couple of months to go through 6000 odd stocks on the HK stock exchange. I now have 40% of my portfolio in Hong Kong. There was great value in HK stocks (including HK REITS which I also have) back in Jan-April of this year.
Australian market, I am not doing much. I want to see how fundamentals play out.
Don't know whether this post is useful. But I am not a cheer leader just because I have stocks exposure.
I call it how I see it, but I am only a one man band.
