RF has come into his own the last few years. I find RF/SAR was always in the shadow of NST/Billy Beament and EVN/Jake Klein. In terms of my portfolio anyway. Whenever I spoke to him in the SAR days he was always in search of a gold niche for SAR. Which I've always thought as the wrong way of looking at things. NST had the growth in ounces niche. EVN had the margins over ounce niche. RRL (Nick Giorgetta era) had the dividend niche etc...

SAR on the other hand had - "The standard you walk past is the standard you accept." How he distinguishes GMD from the competition will be interesting. In any case its good to see him run his own race and not in the shadow of the aforementioned names.
