I laugh at the "analysts" and brokers. They don't have a clue. I doubt it's anything seasonal Bgall. I personally think it's the high inflation environment that we are in. I know a heap of people who use marijuana that are sick of buying on the black market and are happy to go through this legal avenue. It's great quality and so far.... prices are comparable. If prices rise though, some will go back to the black market. If Australia ever got rid of the old fashioned politicians and went down the recreational path like other countries, this would go gangbusters. Alcohol is no different (if fact marijuana is better because there's no violence that comes with it and arguably less dependency)
