Not sure if thst is fair on BKW - they would never have thought that their land would become so valuable and that the JV would consume so much cash and land.
Also their adventure inyo USA is interesting now thst CRH has entered Australia.
Back to HLI - You have to assume that CBA would review results. They would also see the reduced risk in this insurance category. MQG self insuring. With this scenario looming would it not be logical for CBA to.lob a bid at some point. On the basis that in fact it is easier to tell the market they intend to self insure the value of HLI future drops so its the value of the balance sheet snd we become price takers.
