Were it not for the Regulators as you disparage, and the then Rudd Federal Labor Govt in 2008 and beyond, with a massive taxpayer funded bail out for the local banking sector in the GFC, brought on by sheer greed and poor lending decisions (not to mention those AAA+ USA bonds), there would be no banking sector to speak of. Certainly do not share your performance views of those NAB executives. Wasn't the CEO brought back from near retirement to remediate the NAB, nothing like that so far, more like NAB for the past 30 years.
