    Agree Mad, looks like a great bulk U/G mining scenario. Will be very interesting to see what they come up with the MRE and scoping study (next 5-6 weeks). Anything that can move lower grade ounces out of the mine plan, enables the LOM to extend and profitability to be brought forward.

    Just for context, PRU just took a position in ORR, with it's main asset offer similar metrics to Kiaka, yet, the current Capex spend on it, is US $474m!
    Yet, that gets them a plant with half the throughput and the AISC is the same. Oh, and the project goes for just over half of Kiaka.

    Sure... WAF suffers from BF being a higher risk country, but... your dollar goes a lot further there too.

    Maybe WAF should start acquiring other unloved producers in BF. The company is already heavily marked down, so... why not double down, Richard has proven he and the team can do the right thing socially.

    Good time to be an unhedged USD gold producer. Oil price has come back a bit too, though that takes time to filter down to what WAF pay.
