Hi Hollow, I can show you other quarters in the past that made money, BUT.... they were not able to be backed up, due the overall poor performance of WGX, plus the incredible amount of non-sustaining capex that occurred. WB hinted in the Beaver presentation that they had over $200m in cash (or will be quarters end), I think I recently estimated that they may end up adding $30m or more to their balance sheet due to the higher spot price being received.
We will see of course. $0.6-0.8 cents would probably be too large for WB maiden dividend, but... if he truly is that confident in the business and it's assets, I will take the money, though I also have the confidence that he can put that money into internal/external investments to make me even more.

Cheers for the post @Samscout, such a good point about the reserves, I also like that WGX is open about the good and bad (as in, they clearly explain that Paddy's Flat is not growing), though I would be pleased to see WGX provide a bit more of a breakdown to its production sources over a 1-3 year period like RMS does. Perhaps once Big Bell deeps gets the go ahead, they can finally have a real mine plan for the 3 plants that has long term visibility, versus the past 'mine anything' Cookie plan.

I wonder when WGX might get a look into the ASX200? 7th largest gold producer on the ASX and growing. Could indeed be another reason for a future re-rate.
