I did once have the oresorter explained to me after speaking to mgmt but can’t seem to find my notes. From memory they’ve only been using the oresorter on about a third of the material mined and it reduces this material by about half before going through the main processing plant (floatation etc). The explanation for this was around ore amendable to oresorting - something about you want to put the ore with large amounts of waste contamination through the sorter but the higher grade stopes not so much (for fear of ore loss).

All this is to say - I think there’s scope to increase the use the oresorter more and don’t forget the ore reserve (ie post dilution) for Area5 is below plus Bell50 is close to this again - so 1.95% post oresorter doesn’t seem extreme imo.

“Area 5 Ore Reserve of 3.3 Mt at 1.87% Sn for 61,900 tonnes of contained tin, including 2.2 Mt at 2.11% Sn for 46,400 tonnes of contained tin from a distinct high-grade portion of the Mineral Resource.”
