I think its a negative overall (literally and figuratively). MGVs ore will improve things in the coming months, but... that is an acquisition.
I am also not overly excited about the $2700 cutoff for the reserve... from memory the highest I had seen was $2600, with many companies using.... $2000! Not a lot of margin. Bartus will further assist, but.. I think it just highlights that Mt Magnet, and Edna May are high cost production centres, with short mine lives (particularly Edna of course).
MGVs ore will give Mt Magnet a huge boost in the coming years (not necessarily more ounces, but.. just a better cost profile).
I am sort of ignoring Rebecca/Roe, as even if they did have ounces in reserve, there is no production. It's like RRL spouting they have 4m ounces in reserve, when over 50% of it is at McPhils, which.. might be in production in 2-3 years time!
