After carefully reading this entire thread again, it is fascinating to see the obvious change in tune of the dedicated Neurenites on here who picked up the nuances of Jon's language to see partnering as a distinct possibility.
Then, as usual, Hottod's great post shows how it can be done and suddenly it becomes real.
Partnering instead of a simple takeover would confirm one thing we have known all along - NNZ 2591 has so many possible applications it could be transformational in the neurology space and is not worth giving up completely to someone else.
I dare you to tell me you are not excited.
