"Increasing the portfolio" is hardly some sort of new concept.. Good shareholder returns is extremely unlikely to drive the Sp down, in fact, the opposite and I believe investors are fed up with corporate management greed right across the spectrum and couldn't care less if management takes a few hits.. Most would applaud it and call for more SH activism in general.
Not that I am pushing for it, but, It would be an interesting experiment to see the board removed and have to renominate for their positions... How many would retain their positions???
