Here's the thing I don't get with AGI.
For CY23 the US delivered a gross profit of 94.8 mill and EBITDA of 78.5 mill, both up around 10% on CY22. Nice improvement for their US operation. However the Oz operations only delivered a gross profit of 14.9 mill and EBITDA of 4.1 mill, both down on CY22.
The big kicker is the headcount for the US and AU operations:
Their Australian operation has more sales staff and R&D staff than the US, yet the US delivers a much more credible and bigger result with less sales and R&D staff than the US business. Surely the CEO must be thinking of "slimming" down the Australian operations?
