What a disgraceful AGM Thodey has been Chair for over a year - not long but you'd expect he'd have had time to work with the Exec's and Board to validate and reshape the Strategy, appoint a fit and proper CEO and complete a portfolio Analysis. He is capable but on all 3 he has failed. Of the 3, there was no better example that he is not focused on RHC than the appointment of a person steeped in the current Woolworth debacle - throwing the RHC CEO role as a life line to WOW supermarkets boss Natalie Davis and ex McKinsey. She is due to start December 2 and they should pay her a nuisance fee and get the Selection Committee to target a Seasoned Medical Services/Hospital operator.
