Another terrific focussing post from VOGC.
Interesting comment regarding no evidence of Jurassic or Tertiary rocks validating the structural model for the local area. We have the source rocks, the porosity and the traps. The oil is there. We also have a validated economic model with a shallow field, proximity to infrastructure and markets and we are sorting contracts.
Cuba is currently producing about 85,000 bo per day, mostly from shallow fields like ours. There is no reason why we will not be adding this next year and enter a new era as a producer. I am certainly not getting out now because of transitory delays.
