While I meant to refer to kidney, rather than liver cells, it’s probably worth mentioning at the same time Rohan's previous comment that the CPP selected for the ADPKD drug delivers not just to the kidney, but also to some degree to the liver. So there was hope that PYC-003 might also have some benefit for liver cysts.
It is estimated that roughly 85% of patients with ADPKD also develop liver cysts, although these generally don’t reduce liver function.
