Hey D, Happy New Year to you, let's hope that 2025 brings a change of fortune for MYX and shareholders.
Re THMD, you may recall, MYX bought their portfolio of products (Annovera, Bijuva, Imvexxy and Vitamins) for US$140M which allowed MYX to leverage the Women's Heath sales workforce and only now turning the corner on this portfolio plus Nextstellis.
THMD's only revenue is the royaties it receives from MYX for selling these products which is roughly 8% of revenue for these products plus milestones payments. The liability to MYX over the next 10 years runs into well over A$200M, so it makes sense to acquire this company if we can to just eliminate this liability, if we were to merge with them we would also achieve the US listing that management has talked about in the past.
The other consideration is that its major shareholder is Rubric capital which also owns about 4% of MYX so it's in their interest to make something happen here. Obviously I am only speculating but it does make some sense if we can pick up the company for US$20M or so. Cheers
