have you read any of the announcements? If not read the AGM Notice it spells it out...long story short, BVS raised a bunch of cash for the turnaround (which went better then expected) and are sitting on this cash...there is no need for it (i.e. signalling they don't want to make acquistions) so to return it to the shareholders they are doing a return of capital (cash dividend you'll receive) although it won't have any tax impacts unlong as the ATO approves special waiver.
