Scandium is super important for high-tech and green energy, so this puts Rimfire in a great spot in the growing critical minerals market. They just doubled the size of its Broken Hill Cobalt Copper Project and is making great progress with exploration. They’ve been drilling at Bald Hill, hitting multiple zones of sulphide mineralisstion. Assay results are coming soon, which should give investors a nice confidence boost. Most importantly Rimfire has taken back 100% ownership of the Fifield Project after ending its agreement with Golden Plains Resources. This move gives the company more control over its scandium and gold assets, giving them a lot of flexibility for future plans.Rimfire has some pretty exciting scandium exploration targets lined up, with estimates of 100-200 million tonnes of scandium material in the Murga area. If they can convert those into Mineral Resources, the company’s value could really take off.The company’s been doing well on the safety front, with no significant incidents. They also have a good relationship with local communities, which helps minimise any operational risks and keeps things running smoothly. Rimfire raised $1.15 million through a share placement, plus another $1.2 million from early exercise of February 2025 options. Thiis also really strengthens their finances and supports continued exploration and project development.
