This positions Rimfire among the key scandium resource holders globally, which is particularly strategic given the increasing demand for scandium in high-tech applications, such as aerospace, automotive industries, and fuel cells, as well as its role in the global decarbonisation movement for the broader Murga area, excluding Murga North. This target, estimated to be between 100 to 200 million tonnes at grades between 100 and 200 ppm scandium, further underscores the scalability of the project. The mineralisation at Murga occurs within a flat-lying, weathered saprolite (clay) horizon, which often area has seen reconnaissance drilling on a nominal 400m x 400m grid, which has shown significant scandium anomalies, confirming the potential to expand the scandium resource through further drilling .
