Your all doom and gloom re interest rates, 10% is not likely, maybe one more increase at .25 of 1 percent but that's it.
This is not like back in the 80's when my mortgage was $36k on a home that I bought for $63k.
People have mortgages of $700,000 at 10% they will be paying $70k on interest - not going to happen.
Labor gov are not that stupid.
Rates could come down in 2025 even a drop of 1% would make a decent impact on profits but at the same time there is nothing like being debt free.
