Buttula is getting solid support from the other directors, none of whom is targeted by the 249D. For those who want OB removed, what is the plan? What are the intentions of the 4 shareholders who have brought this on? (We don't know and they are not telling us.) What is the alternative to the strategy that the board has now put in place? The company has stuffed up over the change from IVDD to IVDR but it cannot be that Buttula bears sole responsibility for that. And having a fit of pique about it is not a good enough reason to throw him out.
No doubt the change in strategy and consequent delay will make a CR necessary but, if that is so, who is better placed to set one up than OB? Anyone who holds IMU will know how easy it is to stuff up a CR, and how painful it is for shareholders when that happens, but at least in this respect OB's record is good.
I'm in favour of OB remaining.
