I wouldn't say minimal, just less chance of success with the data available. There is a nice gravity target in the east and it's worth drilling, RCR claim they're drilling there for REE, but I think they're going for both REE and copper-gold. Possibly they needed to clear access at the second target before proceeding so this decided the sequence.
At the east target there is widespread coper-gold at surface in hematite (unlike Carrapateena with 400m of cover before any mineralisation), hence the shallow RC program which will yield results and possibly there could be economic grade lurking near surface, historic hits have economic grade 6m @ 1.36% Cu from just 100m, hit that over 50-100m and the market will know they're onto a major discovery.
