The 'strategic review' of Peanut Company of Australia is again mentioned. From what I've read, peanut growers in Far North Queensland and Kingaroy, Queensland have not had an easy time.
It'll be interesting to see whether NZ Fonterra's Australian divestments create further opposrtunities for BGA.
Canada's Saputo has also had a difficult time in Australia. Given it demonstrated wokeness in changing the name of its Coon cheese to Cheer, it's hard to feel much sympathy.
BGA's report today looks to be very positive despite continuing difficulties in the bulk segment.
