I've bought both on the dips over the years. Every now and then (every 5-10 years) you can pick them up on great valuations for companies that will in all likelihood grow along with the economy for most of our lifetimes, increasing dividends steadily. It seems fairly independent about what they say or do from year to year, as they tend to copy each other (or other large overseas retailers) eventually. Neither seem particularly cheap at the moment.
