They picked up an asset at the bottom of the diamond market for circa $8m, said asset at current diamond prices has an NPV of around $1B, in a good jurisdiction which partly offsets the risk factor of investing in Africa, not difficult to see at all why it was done. Stephen needs to clean up the cap structure and show he can get money out of Angola - simple.
