The first contract is with Lendlease to design, supply and install specialist engineered curtain wall facades at the M1 building, as part of the iconic Melbourne Quarter development. The c.$2.9 billion Melbourne Quarter development is centrally located in Melbourne directly opposite Southern Cross station, with frontages to Collins Street and Flinders Street and has been awarded the highest sustainability rating for precincts in Australia through the 6 Star Green Star Communities award, representing ‘world leadership in sustainable design’. The new project will start immediately and run for approximately 17 months. The second contract is with Multiplex, on behalf of the Victorian Health Building Authority to design, supply and install specialist engineered curtain wall and window wall facades for the new Footscray Hospital in Melbourne. The c.$1.5 billion new Footscray Hospital represents the largest ever health investment in Victoria and will treat approximately 15,000 additional patients and enable around 20,000 additional people to be seen by the emergency department each year. The contract is expected to start immediately and will run for approximately 24 months.
