You are being deliberately obtuse. You know very well your pop culture reference wasn’t the issue but the language used in your post. I understand the reference and enjoy that film but you have to know that word is widely considered to be not ok in the context you used (if you’re speaking French it is fine). You could have used many other ways to say what you said, and sounded more eloquent.

The offensive bit was not the opinion but the language used to express it. Which wasn’t the quality you are after. Very different. I wouldn’t have reported it (maybe the mods just censored it, probably against the code of conduct) as seeing what kind of poster they are is useful to form an opinion on them, but Opaque had every right to call it out. You imply you are pro freedom of speech but don’t want people criticising speech when it happens? How is that a free exchange of ideas? Precise and meaningful language should be preferred to lazy and unconsidered.
