Thanks Brock105 for the link to the video which explains what is meant by CC faults and what their significance is. Your helpfulness is much appreciated, probably by others as well as by me.

The announcement had made it clear that "CC Faults are the Key" but hadn't explained what "CC" meant. This had raised a question mark that the video has now removed.

Just in case there might be others who wish to know what CC means, it means cross-cutting. It is terminology used locally by Tesoro's geologists to describe a characteristic of the gold-bearing faults.
