I'm retired and the SMSF benefits well and truly out way the normal super funds which deliver on average about 8%
Example:
LRS average price 3.4c now 28c can't get that from OZ super

2. Penny stocks can be bought
3. The choice of stocks is endless
4. A combined fund with your spouse saving on fund fees
5. You control the distribution of shares
