In principle I agree re the confidence bit, do not agree on handing over swags of cash with no information.

In the world of finances, NO BODY gives half million without details / facts on they will get the due returns, of course unless they are gambling..... but you also stated they quote "I am sure none of them would be the gambling type'

Do show me a bank, finance institute, or someone who would lend half mill (no details to be disclosed) and I will demonstrate so much confidence they will give $1Mil instead - it just doesn't happen without facts / details of some type.
