I don't have any history with KCN, but from the 10 minutes of googling I did that sounds like a completely different story - i.e. the mine shut down for legal reasons, not being annexed and taken over. Apparently they're starting up again.

Can anyone quote a precedent where an Australian company had international assets taken over by a foreign government? That is what I understand @TopSahara is suggesting may happen.

If we were pushed out with an appropriate payout - i.e. 40% share of the book value plus all loan monies owing - that wouldn't necessarily be the end for LOM. Would leave them cashed up to focus on Merlin.

This sort of BS is super speculative though if you ask me.
