I would have thought they would have made an announcement by now if they could not free the tool... I am sure it does not take 5 days to fish the tool out. Sedco cost 500K a day, I would not have a clue what the tool is worth, and not intersted in finding it out.
Even if they did successfully fish the tool out, it would not warrant an announcemnt, just for that.
