KPG seems a bit coy about how much they paid for getting into California , an EV valuation would have been nice to see , and then compare with its EV valuation for KPG in Oz.
Also why are accounting firms moving over to KPG , guessing it is partners wanting to take it a bit easier , and also to monetise their hard yakka over the years ?
My accounting firm got bought into by an American company , who has changed how they treat clients for the worse , I use to get one or two invoices a year , then I noticed this year an invoice sent out with any work over $50.00 and a "friendly reminder" if it was not paid within 2 weeks of the work being done .
I told the accounting firm , if they want to keep my business I am not making monthly payments , by annually at most .
I can see Australian accounting firms doing better in the USA , just by being more courteous than the big 4 .
Software is also another issue , many in Australasia have gone to Xero , personally as a client who uses xero I find it a piece of confusing crap , compared to excel spread sheets , wonder what they will use in the USA guessing sage or quickbooks .
