Akida 2.0 absolutely blows any competitors for Edge AI...just read the specification and nothing comes close...almost unbelievable and the stuff in Terminator!
The big Techs will turn a blind eye to Akida...well they have to, but not one of these big Techs have openly rejected any of Akida's stated ability...they can't because it's all true and they are too embarrassed to directly compare their offerings to Edge AI space with Akida.
NVIDIA Jetson module and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, supposedly are the major offerings for Edge AI, using improved CPU/GPU hardware and smarter software but these are still same "OLD" technology, and the hardware and software are strictly coupled.
Akida, or any true neuromorphic offering, delivers "ultra-efficient, real-time AI processing on multi-dimensional (spatial and temporal), streaming data including audio, speech and vision", and allow decoupling of hardware and software i.e, trained software can be from anywhere in any language and then used with Akida...similar to our brain which can learn any language and process information from any language.
Just like the big car manufacturers had ignored Tesla's push for EV because they did not have a solution to EV themselves, the big Techs are ignoring the inevitable adoption of neuromorphic computing for Edge AI simply because they don't have a solution to neuromorphic computing.
Like EVs, devices with Edge AI functions can be a totally fresh start to device development, rather than "upgrades" like mobile phones in the last 30 years. This open the flood gate to many new innovative companies to steer away form the old technology of NVIDIA and Qualcomm and adopt true neuromorphic computing at the edge. Like EVs and the many new EV manufacturers, devices with Akida will begin to appear and new companies leveraging neuromorphic computing with Akida will also appear...ARM is well aware of this so that's why it wants to now be the go-to chip company for neuromorphic Edge AI with Akida...that's the purpose for its US IPO! Like Mercedes and BMW, NVIDIA and Qualcomm will still be huge but inevitably will have to transition into true neuromorphic computing...how long can these big Techs resist Akida?
