That's interesting. I suspect that if you are churning from one NBN reseller to another there should really be no difference. If anything ABBs tooling should get that switchover happening faster than any reseller.

It could be that to add you (or anyone else) to your local POP they would have to provision more backhaul capacity, which may have been a reason for delay, but I think it more like what Sashweed said - underpromise in order to overdeliver.

I wonder if NBN have a standard SLA here that some resellers ignore because they know the SLA is likely to be met very easily.
